Valentino Spring Summer 2026: Restraint Meets Radiance

The Valentino Spring/Summer 2026 show stepped away from Alessandro Michele’s usual maximalist theatrics, allowing the clothes to take center stage. Puff-sleeved blouses, bow-trimmed jackets, and pencil skirts nodded to Valentino Garavani’s Rome of the early ’80s, reviving an era of elegance with modern discipline.
Daywear carried a quiet charge — zebra-patterned windbreakers, tailored suits, and bold pairings like powder blue with chartreuse — while sequined jackets and jeweled shorts injected flashes of decadence. Eveningwear glimmered between extremes: from sheer “naked” gowns to velvet draped in shadowy folds.
Set on a dark, firefly-lit stage, the collection balanced restraint and glamour, signaling Michele’s intent to reignite Valentino’s power through precision, not excess.
