Etro SS26: A Technicolor Carnival

Professor Ivan Allegranti is a seasoned freelance journalist and academic…
Marco De Vincenzo marks three years at Etro with a spring collection bursting with audacity. Collaborating with La Niña del Sud—Sicilian-born designer and Neapolitan singer—the runway became a riot of color, ruffles, fringes, and sequins.
La Niña’s magnetic, politicized performance fueled the collection’s exuberance, evoking a Mediterranean Carnival in motion. In a season dominated by minimalism, the Etro woman is fearless: a technicolor storm of craft and sensuality, unapologetically bold, sequins blazing, ruffles flying, challenging the world to turn the volume down.
