Rick Owens SS26: The Temple Reignited

Rick Owens transformed the Palais de Tokyo into a stage of defiance and reflection for his Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Models emerged through the fountain, eyes veiled by black contact lenses, their presence spectral, almost prophetic.
Sheer draped dresses traced with geometric seams balanced fragility with resilience, a meditation on tenacity in unstable times. Owens’s unmistakable codes—muted tones, architectural draping, towering platforms, and exaggerated shoulders—were reimagined with spiked leather capes by Straytukay and star chart prints inspired by his father’s drawings.
Referencing his retrospective “Temple of Love,” Owens fused past devotion and present unrest into a single vision. The result: a declaration of power, solitude, and beauty forged in resistance.
