The Art of Dressing Well: Stephen Adkins III at Threaded Men’s Fashion Week
Richmond, Virginia, welcomed an evening of men’s fashion on Saturday, October 17, as Threaded Men’s Fashion Weekpresented its menswear runway show at The Park RVA.
Among the featured designers was Stephen G. Adkins III, whose Stephen Collection caught my attention with its tailored suits and distinctive approach to men’s style.
What I especially appreciated was the combination of sophisticated suiting and statement hats, creating a polished, confident aesthetic with plenty of personality.
From cream and powder-blue tailoring to navy double-breasted jackets, patterned blazers, and richly coloured trousers, the looks brought variety to classic menswear.
Some models wore wide-brimmed hats, while others let their carefully styled suits speak for themselves, showing how the right finishing touches can make an ensemble feel personal.
As someone who has always appreciated hats as a favourite fashion accessory, I was naturally drawn to the styling and attention to detail.
Adkins, founder of The Stephen Collection, chairman and co-owner of Threaded Men’s Fashion, and a member of the Silver Fox Squad, brings his personal appreciation for refined dressing to his approach to fashion.
For me, his presentation was a reminder that timeless tailoring, individuality, and the right accessories never go out of style.
