In honour of Pink October, an inspiring morning unfolded at Trèsind Dubai, where guests gathered for a Pink Breakfast, a heartfelt collaboration between Lauren O’Connell, breast cancer survivor and Beauty Editor at Cosmopolitan Middle East, and Sakshi Nath, founder of Queens Beauty Lounge and co-founder of Trèsind.
The event brought together an intimate group of female guests, including breast cancer survivors and influential women from across the industry, all united by a shared message of strength, resilience, and solidarity.
The morning featured an emotional and empowering talk by Lauren, who shared her journey of overcoming breast cancer — a story of hope and courage that continues to inspire thousands through her social media platform. Sakshi Nath followed with a heartfelt speech celebrating women’s empowerment and the growing presence of women leading with purpose and passion across industries.
Set against Trèsind’s elegant ambiance, the event embodied the true spirit of Pink October, blending compassion, connection, and courage. Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated menu that reflected Trèsind’s signature balance of modern Indian and breakfast influences, all thoughtfully aligned with the event’s soft pink theme. It was a beautiful reminder that when women come together, they inspire change, uplift one another, and redefine the meaning of beauty.
As Lauren O’Connell reflected, “I saw breast cancer as an adventure — not one I signed up for, but one I made the best of.”

I’m Divina, a recent Fashion Business graduate from Istituto Marangoni London with a passion for editorial fashion and luxury brand management. For me, fashion is the ultimate form of storytelling, where words and visuals come together to create lasting narratives. With a love for weaving creativity into both strategy and style, I bring an eye for detail and a voice for expression, think of me as London’s very own Carrie Bradshaw in the making.
