On 24 October 2025, Dr. Maria Giovanna Paone, President and CEO of Ciro Paone S.p.A., received the prestigious title of Cavaliere del Lavoro at Rome’s Quirinale Palace. The ceremony, attended by President Sergio Mattarella and leading Italian authorities, formally celebrated the honour conferred on 30 May 2025.

Under her leadership, Kiton has expanded internationally, strengthened its production and retail networks, and championed artisanal excellence through the Kiton School of High Tailoring.

The award recognizes Paone’s contribution to Made in Italy, her role in advancing female entrepreneurship, and her dedication to preserving exceptional craftsmanship in contemporary fashion.
