NYFW Open Studios: The Brooklyn Circus Turns Fashion into a Living Portrait

I’m an internationally certified fashion stylist, image consultant, and color…
NYFW’s Open Studios, with Ouigi Theodore and The Brooklyn Circus, brought together fashion and community in a truly unique way. On Sunday, September 14 at the Brooklyn Circus Soho on Canal Street, the gathering invited guests to step into a live portrait studio experience.
The dress code of all black attire created a striking atmosphere and gave the portraits a cohesive visual story. The Brooklyn Circus, known for its historically inspired menswear, transformed the space into a cultural hub where fashion and history met in real time.
Ouigi Theodore’s vision was clear throughout, celebrating individuality while honoring heritage. Guests not only witnessed fashion, but became part of it as subjects in this living studio.
