Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana titled their latest menswear collection The Portrait of a Man, yet it felt closer to Portraits of Many Men.

Shown in Milan, the runway delivered undeniable tailoring excellence, notably in Donegal tweeds and sharply cut suits, but lacked a coherent narrative thread.

The staging felt disjointed, shifting abruptly from gentlemanly elegance to theatrical dandyism, luxury shearling, leopard loungewear, military coats, and sporty references.
