A Different Language of Style
At Radio Park above Rockefeller Plaza, Modest Now brought a different perspective to my New York Fashion Week experience with an open-air presentation centered on modest fashion and international design. The rooftop setting made the Spring/Summer 2027 showcase feel intimate, allowing the details of each look to have their own moment.
A sea of white came down the runway in varying silhouettes and textures, showing just how many stories can be told within a single color palette. The presentation featured the Fatimah collection from Agni by Vita Bayu Putri X A D I T H, rooted in the idea of time, transformation, and beauty shaped through experience.
What stayed with me was seeing modest fashion presented not as one particular aesthetic, but as another language of personal style, culture, and creativity. Modest Now is creating room for international designers and perspectives to be seen within the larger fashion conversation.
From a rooftop in the heart of New York City, that conversation felt right at home.
