The ever-evolving Casadei universe is showcased in its new collection, a range in which historical transformation and cultural confluence come together. In this era of creative abundance, high heels – epitomized by the iconic Blades – yield to a new authority: flat footwear emerges boldly, ushering in an era of functionality and elegance.
Cesare Casadei, the brand’s owner and creative director, remarks, “the mood has changed, the desire to dream gives way to optimistic pragmatism: and so we offer all types of low and flat heels, from mules to sandals, from court shoes to reinterpreted Furlane slippers, which we have enhanced in terms of materials and details and which we have called Capalbio, one of the season’s new additions”.
Square-toed ballet flats take center stage this season, oozing ultra-elegance or foldable convenience. They pay homage to the ‘Indie Sleaze’ aesthetic of the Nineties when adorned with crystal-embellished metallic mesh, and they provide refined comfort when made in leather, satin or even wool, for easy folding.
Catering to a new fashion niche are the transparent jelly flip-flops,adorned with jeweled bees in vibrant crystal hues.
The Geraldine models, available in the décolleté, ballet flat or slide variants with their 1980s charm, are a reinterpretation of an iconic Casadei model.
A new addition this season is the Galaxy heel: hand-hammered and characterized by highlights around the frame to reflect light.
The revamped jeweled sandal, Stratosphere, retains its allure while catering to a more practical clientele, epitomizing ‘quiet luxury’ that embodies durability and Italian craftsmanship.
Symbolic of an elegant revolution, alongside baskets teeming with secrets and desires, caps with visors and wide-brimmed straw hats evoke images of legendary chic holiday resorts.
This season’s essential accessory is the geometric clutch bag, echoing the razor-sharp silhouette of the iconic Blade heel. The C-Chain symbol in reinforced leather serves as a hand strap, symbolizing artisanship and style.
Pluralism and a desire for exploration mark the new range, in which models are gathered as islands of colour in a sea of style. Each bears a name that embarks on a chromatic odyssey, encompassing Earth: the seraphic rose hues of Minou, the golden tones of amber, the calm whispers of panama, the passionate enticement of pink, the freshness of Bohemian Blue, the serenity of Etruscan Brown or Rum, the invigorating presence of topaz yellow, but also the flame red of corals, the matte gold of ancient jewels, the optical white of salt flats, the velvety black of summer nights.
