Dear Readers,

Truth is the first victim of war. Today I am not just a Journalist or Creative Director, I am a humanitarian and an activist which is what I implore all of you to be. I lend my voice to those with none, those who are unheard. For the plight of the Palestinans that burns through my heart.

I am not a politician and I in fact disdain politics. That said, it is an integral part of our lives. Every decision, every action one takes is political in nature. It is naive to think we are excluded from the political debate. Quoting George Galloway ‘The air is thick with propaganda canards’ We can not avoid it. What we can do is educate ourselves with means of context and background. Become active participants in the narrative instead of running the risk of becoming complicit bystanders.

Activism doesn’t mean aggression but a journey of enlightenment. Using the skills at our disposal to communicate what many wish to vocalise. Effective social movements can lead to concrete policy results, united we can build a fortress that lets adversaries reveal themselves.

The question isn’t are you pro-palestine, the question is are you pro-truth? Are you pro-equality? Are you pro-humanity?

Ask yourself, are you in favour of justice, liberty and freedom or not?
