Denim Meets Air in a New Playbook

So who ever said jeans start at the waist and sneakers begin at the floor? Well that rule got broken on June 30, 2025, when Levi’s and Nike unveiled a trio of Air Max 95 wrapped head to toe in premium denim that feels ripped straight from your favorite pair of jeans.
Well pick the White / Ecru edition and you’ll find soft off-white denim resting on a gum sole that already feels lived in. Then there’s the Black version in heavy 14-ounce denim that turns every step into a statement. And if you want those worn-in vibes the Indigo wash model mirrors the mid to light fades of Levi’s baggiest jeans.

Look closer and you’ll catch the secrets. That Big Bubble sole bubbles underfoot for instant vintage Air Max nostalgia. Levi’s red tab hides under the swoosh like a secret handshake. Inside the sock liner flexes a dollar-bill print that feels playful and a bit subversive All three arrive in custom Levi’s red boxes stamped with Nike’s batwing logo.

Sneakers are just half the story. The matching Levi’s x Nike Trucker Jacket and Baggy Jean lock in the same denim DNA. Selvedge denim weaves into the interior placket while Nike spells itself across the back in chainstitch. The jeans come oversized by design so they stack perfectly over any high top or low top.
So why here and now in Dubai Mall next week? Leo Gamboa, VP of Collaborations at Levi’s, says they wanted to honor three decades of the Air Max 95 in a way that felt true to both brands and fresh enough to break necks come 2025.

The campaign casts Larry June, Paige Bueckers, Keon Coleman and Daniel Buezo in street-style portraits that remind you sport and style share the same language.
Which pair will you grab first? How will you mix that raw selvedge with the next drop in your closet? The crossover starts now and it feels like the first move in a new playbook for heritage and hustle.
