AILYOS ART NATURE
Created in 2018, the Ailyos Art et Nature concept is installed every summer in the splendid setting of the Vaud Alps. Integrated into an alternative environment deep in the countryside, this open-air art gallery promotes the work of local artists invited to let their imagination run wild on the valleys, lakes, buildings and landscapes of the Aigle, Leysin and Col de Mosses region. Ailyos is more than an unusual art trail, it is a profound experience that creates a bond between art, nature, the environment and the individual. This third edition is entitled Ciel et Terre (Sky and Earth) and can be discovered until October this year.
Nature & Industry, Art Walk in Vallée de Joux

The innovative L’Essor Art Gallery reaches out to the public by offering an art itinerary outside its walls running now until 25 October 2020. This walk starts from L’Essor gallery to Le Sentier in Vallée de Joux, rejoins the canal de l’Orbe and follows the river as far as the end of the lake. The original works of 34 artists can be discovered along the 3.5 km trail suitable for all visitors. Intensive industrial development, unspoilt nature, agricultural land and recreational areas effectively live side by side in the territory of the Vallée de Joux. This is a unique feature for a mountainous region in Switzerland, hence the theme Nature & Industry.
Located in the heart of Europe, the region is served by Geneva international airport, which is a short 40-minute train ride away from Lausanne. It shares its borders with France and the cantons of Geneva, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Berne and Valais. With an area of 3,212 km2, it is one of the largest cantons in Switzerland.
